Discover Southern Burgundy: 7-day package with cultural activities
The Bresse-Bourguignonne lies between Burgundy to the west and the Jura to the east. To (re)discover this area, we have put together a 7-day (6 nights) package with a number of highlights in the area. And also some physical activity and rest when needed. Fully catered, of course.
On the first day, you travel here, check in, relax by the pool. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner with fine wines.
In the following days, we will create a program for you, taking into account your wishes and the availability of activities. And every day there is also time for relaxation: by the pool, with a book in the garden, siesta in the hammock. In the evening, you end each day with a tasty dinner at the table d'hôtes.
Activities (order can be adjusted):
Day 2: Azé , visit to the caves (with guide) and walk in the rolling surroundings
Day 3: Beaune , the wine capital of Burgundy, with a visit to the world-famous Hospice and a wine tasting/tour at a chateau
Day 4: Macon , city walk and after a short journey Roche Salutré (with museum visit and walk)
Day 5: Cluny , (visit to the (once) largest abbey in Europe) and in the afternoon a bike tour in the area around Cluny
Day 6: Bourg en Bresse , discover the capital of our department and visit the Monastère Royal de Brou
Day 7: breakfast and check-out (with packed lunch)
